At Tru Tempeh, our mission is to make you love tempeh. We provide a nutrient-rich, fermented, plant-based protein that’s as satisfying for vegans as it is complementary to a carnivore’s diet. Versatile, wholesome, and delicious, our tempeh is crafted to fuel your body while elevating every meal.

Stovetop: Slice and sauté in a skillet with 2 T. oil over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp. For extra flavor, add your favorite sauce in the last minute of cooking.
Oven: Preheat to 375°F. Place sliced tempeh on a lined baking sheet, brush with oil or marinade, and bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Air Fryer: Toss with a little oil and air fry at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Steaming (for softer texture): Place tempeh in a steamer basket over simmering water for 10 minutes. This helps mellow any bitterness and makes it extra tender for marinades.
